David Pennington

David Pennington has a deep appreciation for how businesses run that began when he watched his dad and mom start her own business and work to make it thrive. His passion continues to this day as he partners with global brands to help them identify new opportunities so they too can thrive. With over 17 years of experience across every stage of the technology life cycle, from engineering to product management and marketing, Dave knows how companies can leverage technology to drive their business strategies to realities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills complement his background in business strategy, strategic outsourcing, risk management, client partnering and global resource management.

At Microsoft, Dave leads the efforts around strategic global ISV and SI relationships for Microsoft Dynamics R&D, delivering real value for customers using CRM. Experienced in new business development, paving paths toward new industry opportunities and capturing market share, Dave has been responsible for the successful Go-to-Market and integration activities for several recent key acquisitions.

Pennington joined Microsoft in October 2007 and previously managed Microsoft Dynamics existing customer services team. Before joining Microsoft, Pennington spent time at IBM and Envision Telephony in various Product Management disciplines. Pennington has a bachelor of social science degree from Washington State University. For the past 9 years in a row, he has been voted the Best Dad in his house!
